Seminar and Workshops

SEMINAR ORGANISED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF POLITICAL SCIENCE AND PHILOSOPHY

A seminar was organized by the Department of Political Science and Philosophy titled GANDHI IN OUR TIMES on 24th March 2023. Distinguished speakers who are all experts in their field presented their papers. Inaugural speech was given by our Principal Dr. Kalyan Kumar Mondal. The Technical Session started with Dr. Aditi Bhattacharya , followed by Mr. Subir Kishor Bhattacharya and finally the last speaker was Prof. Alok Das. The seminar proved to very enriching and interactive for both the teachers and the students.

Librarians Day Celebration

Sovarani Memorial College Central Library and IQAC organised One day State Level Seminar on Future of Printed Books in collaboration with Bagnan College Central Library and IQAC. Seminar held on 12/08/2022. Invited Speakers were : Dr. Asitabha Das, Former Librarian, Kalyani University; Satyabrata Ghoshal, Former Librarian, Rabindra Bharati University; Swami Chidrupananda, Former Librarian, RMIC. Paper presented by Dr. Anup Kumar Routh, Librarian, S M College, Topic : “Use of Open Educational Resources among the UG Students of Rural West Bengal”.
