Originated from the world of language, Devbhasa has nurtured and nourished all child-like languages which is still continuing, enriching and flourshing the Dept. of Sanskrit in Sovarani Memorial College, which started its journey in 2012. There has been a considerable increased in the number of students in this department over the years. At present, there are 269 students in the academic session of 2019-2020.

Whether you accept it or not, Sanskrit has created a cultural bond across the sub-continent and in future it will continue to do so. The teachers relationship with the departmental students is very sweet and cordial. The teachers encourage the students to participate in different seminars and cultural competitions. The departmental students have Golden opportunity to move forward in teaching profession, curator of library in the job of transcription, Manuscripts, News Readers & Media personal vacancies, Astrology, Vastu Sastra, Ayurveda can be understood better if you have Sanskrit Knowledge. The teacher’s also continue to guide through out the year for all these weaker students. The teacher’s of Sanskrit department are always careful about the progress of their students. This department is sincerely looking forward to open Honours course in future may be mention, right now one whole time permanent teacher and one State Aided College Teachers. So...
